Here he is, PV1 Moore.

Macade is now a Private in Utah Army National Guard. Go Army!

He swore in today and I didn't even bust out a tear! I was so proud however and he was so excited! He got his uniform and his ship date is June 2nd. He is going to be a light wheel mechanic. He will do about 30 weeks in training. We are so proud of him!!

Conversation with an 11 year old

Driving into the school parking lot on Friday

Koy: Mom, I just don't know why, but I LOVE going to school.

Mom: What do you mean?

Koy: I don't know. I just love coming to school. I get all excited when we pull into the parking lot everyday.

Mom's thinking: Could it be that you are heading into your school with 3 jugs of rootbeer for your class Christmas party and that you will most likely eat junk until you want to puke and bring home gifts and by the way... stay home for the next 2 weeks with all the joy that Christmas will bring you?

Mom: That is so cool Koy!

Koy: I know.

Ps. Koy wore this to school Friday. Don't worry... His Bronco's beanie is under his Santa hat. It never goes far.

To the sick sadistic bugger who invented EMG's

I hate you!!! What kind of person sits around thinking of ways to torture humans by shocking them and sticking hundreds of needles into their muscles. (And then making you flex your muscle, needle still inserted!)
You need therapy. (And an EMG)

Happy Holidays?!

What the heck is our world coming to? People died in the chaos of Black Friday to save $10! Why?!
I myself venture out at about noon to see if there is anything left. Usually not, but I can pick it up the next day for the same price! So, to the brother that knocked a little lady on her butt at the emergency essentials sale, she picked up 3 water filters on Saturday for the same price that you are going to hell over!
B
ps. More happy news tomorrow!

Confessions of a freak

So I guess I am feeling the need to confess a few things and here they are.
1- I LOVE McRib sandwiches at McDonald's. (Bring them back!)
2- I cannot throw away a plastic grocery bag
3- I am a scent junkie! I love candles, oils, incense..etc.. anything that keeps my house from smelling like yucky boy smells.
4- I don't really scrapbook. It's pretty rare for me to do an actual page.
And the ultimate confession...
5- I secretly think mullets are hot! (Therapy... I know)

Breakfast in Bed

Just so you all know... my son served me breakfast in bed for my birthday a few weeks ago. The best part is that it was simply poptarts! He even slightly burned them around the edges for me! He is one thoughtful kid! I couldn't have loved it more if it was a full breakfast. Koy is the best!

I'm a Runnner!

Yeah, I am a runner! OK, I say runner in very loose terms. If I were honest I might say I am a walk trotter. OK, painfully ugly runner may be more accurate. So Sterling got me these shoes that I have wanted for some time. I went, I tried on and I came home with what I hoped would make miracles happen. Last night I tried them out for the first time. Not bad if I do say so myself. I ran (trotted) around the track a time or two and it felt good AND I am alive today to tell about it. Maybe some of you know my disdain for exercise. I hate it! I break a sweat doing Kegal exercises for heavens sake. (Speaking of, I obviously need to do more sweating to Kegals as I slowly pee myself the whole time I do run! How come I wasn't aware of this curse we woman must face? Hello, do I not have an honest sista out there willing to share this intimate detail with me before I go trotting?!!!) Anyway, I hate exercise but I have wanted to run for a long time. Hopefully, I will be a graceful runner from here on out. (I will practice my "exercises" so as to not mortify my fellow runners.)

Blast from the past!

So if any of you are a little loony like me, you might know the song to your right. I remember singing this with my sister and various friends until I am certain my parents would've like to GIVE me to the gypsies they were notorious of warning me about. When you grow up in a small town, you create ways to entertain yourself. I entertained the idea that I would be an entertainer! I remember singing in front of the mirror for hours on end. Getting my look and dance moves down to a science. (I don't do this anymore... no really... ummm). So my sister and I used to be in charge of the dishes each night and there we created the most wonderful works of music ever! We also sang a lot of good old western music. (I know...) Don't it make my brown eyes blue? We would prop our music books up on the window and yodel to our hearts content. My sister has a beautiful singing voice! My Dad does too. Actually, I am from a family of very musically inclined folks. I love this time of year especially because it meant a lot of good music around a campfire for me. So, to all those loonies like me out there, pause and listen to this blast from the past and take a second to comment on all your entertaining ideas of your youth.
B
p.s. One of my greatest joys in this life is that my children all LOVE 80's music! It doesn't get much better than big hair boys!

What the???

Here I am enjoying my Sunday afternoon when Bam!!!!! It hits me like a ton of pencil shavings in the form of an e-mail!
They sent me this picture on an actual graduation announcement! Date and all! Nothing like having my 35th birthday and a heart attack all in the same weekend!

Lord have Mercy

My good friends Melissa, Summer and I went to the Jason Mraz concert and can I just say, I have never wanted to be a buttercup so badly in my whole life!

I love this guy! I must admit, I wasn't a big fan until the concert. This guy has some serious moves! I totally enjoyed screaming like a little school girl with my sistas! Thanks girls for making me watch this Beautiful Mess!

Adult Toy Box

I am eating my words today as I contemplate a conversation I had with a patient. She was telling me how she thought she might try to get out of coming to her appointment today. She said that it's almost easier to be a kid and not have a choice. "Plus they have the toy box" she said. Then with that elegant poise that you all know and love I cheerfully exclaimed, (before I could squeeze my mouth shut) "We should totally have an adult toy box!"

What the?

Quotes of the Day

Compliments of patients at Aspen Dental Care,
As my patient was peeling denture adhesive off of the roof of his mouth, he cheerfully says, "just like skinnin a rabbit." There you have it. Quote #1 needs no more explanation.
Quote #2 when asked if a patient was numb enough she replied, "oh my ancestors came across the plains. I'm fine". Again, no more words for that one.
My personal favorite today was all from one patient. "I am working for Obama, going to be on Oprah" and this is good, "I can't even answer my phone because it's the paparazzi!" O my. This I may need to elaborate on....
Meth?

Sweet Six!!!

Attention sports fans! Koy got his first ever touchdown today! Go Tigers! I was so excited for him. Of course it was raining so I didn't take my camera and Dad was out of town. But it was so fabulous! What made it better was how much Koy enjoyed the moment! As soon as he realized he was in, he started pumping his fist in the air. He has been waiting for so long for this! Yeah for Koy!

Attention Cardmakers

To all my faithful girlfriends, Iam so sorry but there will be no card night this Sat. Something has come up that I need to tend to with my boys. I know you are all now on suicide watch so fear not, I will plan another night when we can get together to make holiday cards and such. Thanks for your understanding!

Is that you Minnie?

Here's a shout out to my neighbor (I guess) that was walking down the road yesterday. She must have been about 30 years old and had great big puffy pigtails in her hair. I'm pretty sure she thought this was cute.

Mmm... bless your sweet soul.

Skyler the Innocent

So, most of you know that my middle child Skyler is autistic. He is a fabulous kid! Very innocent and would never purposely get into trouble. Well until we provoke him I guess. The subject of moving has recently been coming up a lot at our house. It is time to upgrade and get some more living space. He is getting no smaller after all. Well, Skyler has made it very well known that he opposes the very idea. He thinks it will ruin his life. Yeah yeah yeah. Sterling and I have been looking at a few places and had printed out a whole list of homes we would like to go and see while out visiting with my parents. When we were done chatting with the folks about which house were great I put the papers in the truck. When it came time to leave I would've sworn I put those papers on the front seat. The whole fam went about looking for the papers. Skyler and Koy waited in the truck while this went on. I finally gave up and got back in the truck to a very expressionless Skyler sitting a little too quietly in the back. I asked him if he knew what had happened to the papers. He said no and then turned his head away and practically hung it out the window so that I couldn't see his face. My parents noticed his laughing though and asked why he was so happy. Still, he would not give it up. The whole drive out of the park he just snickered until finally admitting that he had torn up some pieces and tried to flush them down the toilet. That was not successful however and he then turned to the river. (Come to think of it, he did take a far longer walk than usual. My sister and family even went looking for him.) So there you have it. Koy laughed all the way home that Skyler had finally done something mischievous. I had to giggle too as that is so far out there for Skyler to do. Sterling however kept saying that he found nothing funny about it. Yeah right. So here's to Skyler for distracting his parents the best way he knew how. I love that kid!

A face only a mother could love... I don't think so!

So, little Koy went to his first day of football practice yesterday. (Most of you know that Koy is completely in love with football. ) He was so excited because it was raining. He told me there's nothing like football in the rain. I dropped him off and he was so excited to jump out of the car and go hang with all the boys he had never met. He called me an hour later to come pick him up. He got in the car dripping wet from the rain and seemed a little down. Here are his exact words.

"It was OK. It's the first time in my life someone told me I looked disgusting. The only boy that spoke to me asked me what was wrong with my lip. I told him that it was just a scar and he told me it was disgusting."

With my heart in my feet, I held back my tears long enough to explain to Koy that not everyone was lucky enough to be taught tolerance. I told him I felt so sorry for that little boy that had never learned acceptance.

I must say that I did not see that one coming. I mean, I knew kids could be mean, but we have gone so long without anyone saying anything so hurtful to him. I am obviously so used to his scars that I guess I like to think that no one else sees them either.

I finished our conversation by saying something like "did you tell him to go to hell?" (My fabulous mothering skills shining through.) He just giggled and then said "no Mom, I didn't want to be mean." How can you not just love this kid! I guess I am OK at this Mom thing after all.

Dream come true

So it is a dream come true. But is it his or mine? Skyler got a Fender guitar for his Birthday today! I have no doubt that he was excited but I was ecstatic!!! I have waited and waited for one of my kids to decide they wanted to play. Yeah!!!

So I don't know if any of you know that Skyler is a HUGE 80's music fan! He can even whip me in a game of "Name that Tune". But he has never shown any particular desire to play an instrument. So when he mentioned a guitar, Sterling and I hopped right on it!

OK so here is why I am thrilled! I come from a long line of guitar playing nuts! My dad, 2 brothers, 1 uncle, a nephew and several billion cousins play. I can't think of any women that play and secretly I am hoping to one day be a first. It's a little dream of mine.

Anyway, here's to Skyler, my "rockin" 16 year old!!

Fall Happy

Oh, I woke up this morning and went right through my house opening every door and window! It was feeling so fall-ish outside that I couldn't stand it! I LOVE the fall! Everything about it! I love jackets and sweaters. I love the brisk fresh air in the morning. I really love driving up my favorite canyon and looking at the changing leaves. (My parents used to call that riding in a bowl of trix.) I love the fall holidays and the yummy smells those bring to mind. Candy corn and turkey... o mouth watering. I love wearing jeans and not sweating. I love the delicious colors of fall. It makes me want to scrapbook my world! p.s. I am totally obsessed with fall scrapbook paper as well!! Sweeet! So here's to fall and how it makes me so happy! May you all love the season as much as I do!

Shout out to my sista at PCS

To the lovely young lady that made my day...
At my place of employment we see a lot of boys and girls from a nearby school. This is a live-in facility that helps troubled youth. So one of my first patients of the day from PCS was telling me about a book she was reading. She said it was such a good book and she was excited to find it. She began to tell me about how everything they offer to read at the school is either a self help book or something about God. So I will loosely quote her,
"Everything has God in it! I pick up the first book.. God, God, God. So I toss it and pick up the next one... God, God, God... Toss it, don't get me wrong, I own a bible...That's where I read about God... Next book... God, God, Wait here's a book...It's not a self help and I can see that it's not about God! THANK GOD!"
I almost died laughing! I don't think she even meant to say it in the end, but it was so darn funny! May have been one of those moments you need to be there for, but nonetheless, Thanks to F.M. for making my day!

Could it be?

I looked out in my backyard tonight and low and behold there were several 6th grade boys sitting in my hot tub. What the? When did these little boys hit an age where this would be cool? OK ...let me toot my own horn now.... I am the cool mom who let them into my hot tub, fed them an amazing amount of pizza and root beer and put in my earplugs when the video game energy came out. My gosh! I remember being in the 6th grade!!! I was so happy to see Koy having a good time with his friends, but this is my baby!!! Wow! However, now I am feeling the need to go to bed. An obvious sign of my real age. Here's to Oh so cool back to school parties! (And the tired moms that throw them.)

Books, Books, Books

Ok, So I will not tell a lie. I never really read a full book until about 10 years ago. No joke. Now I cannot pull myself out of a good book! I am crazy about reading! I love how it can take me away for a while. I love sensing things that I am reading. I really am a nut when it comes to picturing characters. I LOVE to read! So, if any of you have any fantastic reads, please let me know. I am always on the look out for something great! OHHHH! The mail just came with my amazon box. You know what this means... the latest read is finally here! The Uglies.

Thoughts for Tyler

Hey friends, just wanted to put a shout out to you all about Koy's good friend Tyler. Tyler was severely burned Monday night while playing with friends at the park. He will be in the hospital for some time as he has pretty severe burns to his face and body. Koy is heartbroken over it. He was looking forward to being in Ty's class again this year and he has been a good playmate for Koy. We would just ask our loved ones to be thinking and praying for Tyler and his family. There has also been a fund set up for him at any Far West bank if anyone would like to donate to a very good cause. Thinking of you Tyler.

So there you have it! Sterling and I are crazy! We are soooo blaming this on Orem High School and their little renovation idea. There are no places to park and this was Cade's only option! Be still my heart. Pray for us and I will check in with our insurance company.

My Locks of Love

So, I finally did it. (Thank you friends for listening to me talk about it for weeks now!) I got my hair cut yesterday. My good friend Courtney had to take several nice chops to get these thick locks off. I will be sending in 11 inches in memory of my Grandma Burnell! I decided several years ago to do this after watching her suffer with cancer. She didn't live long enough to need a wig, but I sure hope mine goes to someone who really needs it. My Grandma had the thickest most beautiful red hair! Also a shout out to my good friend Colette who would have looked great in my hair but now has her own beautiful hair again. I love ya sista! I'm so glad I was able to donate! I love the foundations that do this! I love and miss my Grandma! I adore my friend Colette. And I love having 10 less pounds of hair to lug around! Just think of the shampoo I'll save!

To my favorite rodeo clown

Just a shout out to my favorite rodeo clown, Troy Lerwill. Thanks you so much for GIVING ME A HEART ATTACK! I was just sitting snugly between my mom and sister enjoying a few cowboys in some Wrangler attire when VROOM!!!! You decide to jump over your whole horse trailer and truck while fire is blowing out the top of them!!! What the heck was that all about?! I have barely coerced my body to function normally after that appalling display of craziness! Could you just frighten a sister a little more? Good Grief!!!
No really, never have I seen this before and I'M a redneck! It was so cool and so scary! So here's to Troy who made me cry over and over into my sisters arm, "he is NOT going to jump over that trailer! He is NOT going to jump over that trailer!" I LOVED it! Bring it on! Put on that big sexy cowboy hat and those size 23 shoes and give my heart another jump start! That was GREAT!

Oh Gross!!!

OMAGOSH! So there you have it. My husband is officially BFF with Micheal Gross! How exciting is this?! He says that Michael is a totally cool and down to earth nice guy. Nice to know they still can do it huh? So Sterling is having a great time in CA after a stress filled couple of months. So excited for him! He says the national guys are really loving his stuff. This is his modules they are standing in front of. So proud of you Sterling!

Fastidious

Fastidious is the word of the day. Not that I have ever had a word of the day thus far, but I'm contemplating it now. Fastidious originates from Dr. Payne's office. It's meaning is whatever Doc sees fit to use it for. (As does my personal favorite, Concise) I'm really not sure of the spelling on either word but don't they just make you happy to say them. Believe me, my staff meeting experiences are not complete without a good "concise" moment. I swear he makes these words up sometimes just to test my Payson vocab. Another favorite Dr. Payne word is "damnit"! I'm pretty sure this one originates from Guatemala. It means, "I can't say the word I'm thinking of." I am definitely not sure of the spelling on that one, because I NEVER use that word. So here's to Doc, my Vocab extraordinaire and his willingness to keep me in tuned to the conversation.

I think I can

I just have to boast about my husband for a moment... He really has it going on when it comes to trains!!! As some of you know, he is preparing to go to CA for a national show. (Don't worry Miss, Michael Gross is a model railroader and he will be there.) So he agreed to bring the loop that he has been building, but he anticipated having a springtime in which to work on it. Unfortunately, here in good ol Utah, we went straight from 30 degrees to 100 degrees. So, my totally devoted husband has been in our 130 degree garage for weeks now trying to get the loop done. He is an amazing artist! He has been building cedar trees, making sage brush and designing a cement plant that would toot yer whistle! They are so real looking! He is very dedicated to making things look so perfect! He is the envy of his friends and hopefully the national guys! I really am not being partial either. He does awesome work! So here's to those that have been hot and sweaty for a good cause!

Ode to my Grandma

So I'm not sure if everyones Grandma used this term so excuse me for a minute while I rant about the use of the term "tickled pink". My Grandma would say this all the time! Or just the shortened version "tickled" My Grandma was a great woman! She was a tough old gal too. She could fish like a shark and much to her dismay, I got seasick the few times they attempted to take me out. I loved eating at Grandmas too. We ALWAYS had chicken gumbo or tomato soup. YUM! You never wanted to be at Grandmas when she was in a bad mood though. It was these precious moments that she would pull out the hairbrush and decide we all need a good comb-through. O wow! Did I mention I get my lovely thick locks straight from Gram? O yes, the torture... My Grandma was a serious chain smoker. She smoked like a freight train until heart derailment sent her in for open heart surgery. She never smoked again.. or wore a bra. Nice. I think one of my Grandma's joys was that my Skyler would crawl his 12 year old self up on her lap and fall asleep. He NEVER did that with anyone but Grandma. I miss her. I miss her funny phrases and her fun giggle. I miss being one of her favorites. I miss tickling her pink.

Here is the Church...

So first of all let me just say, Gob bless Skyler for getting up every Sunday morning and getting ready for church all by himself. It gets me out of bed with nothing but shear guilt as my motivation. So, as I am sitting in sacrament a few glimpses from my childhood came to mind. I was pretty sure as a child that God had made those little water cups just for me. I watched a little one in church thinking the same thing today, I have no doubt. I also remember playing with my mom's hands when I was really bored. Hands that I need only to look down and see today. I have become my mother, no doubt about it. There was just something about pinching softly the skin on her knuckles and how it would always hold it's position for a time. And then there was the good ol' tickle the letters onto my back game. Oh the time I could take just pretending I could never figure out what they were writing. One of my very first memories is that of falling down on my way home from church. I skinned my knees up real good and as my mom was cleaning up my handiwork, much to my dismay, my dad brought in a bottle of coca cola. This may explain 2 things. 1- My phobia of going to church. (Those scabs didn't heal for days!) And 2- My total addiction to all things Coke! Wow, who knew that one could carry so many burdens through the years. All hail Diet Coke!

T.G.I.F.

How many saying could I come up for TGIF? I remember making up tons of dorky things in grade school. OK so it is Friday and let me just say... Thank goodness! I don't know why this week has seemed forever to me. It's like the week before Christmas without the Christmas at the end. Except it is Stamp Night so it is a little bit like Christmas. Might I just add that I love my stamp club nights?! It is so fun to just hang with the girls and bs about nothing in particular and everything important and not so important. Most of all, it's great to know that you have some really great friends. (That like to stamp your forehead and cheeks with lovely arrays of flowers and sweet sentiments.) It also is a benefit to come home and feel so darn crafty even though Blythe puts together the whole idea and we do nothing more than copy her work. Thank goodness for Blythe! TGFB! I mean really, she even cuts out all the pieces, but I feel like freaking Picasso when we are done! Oh joy, I am so glad she is home! My scrapbook mojo was getting pretty lowjo!!! Here's to you, women of my stamp club! Long live Blythe's creativity!

So DANG excited!

So my bestest friend Blythe is home from Russia!!! Yeah! She has been there since Memorial Day trying to finish up an adoption of a beautiful little girl. I am breathing a sigh of relief tonight just knowing she is back home. I really do love Blythe! She is one of the greatest friends one girl could have. She is my scrapbooking, cardmaking guru and confidant of many things. One of the coolest things about Blythe is that she introduced me to Little Missmatched. We love to wear our socks to get feeling creative! Here we are with Blythe's favorite scrapper, Stacy Jullian. Sista, here's to you being home!!

Family Reunion Induced Insomnia

So, the reunion was a hit! Who knew that one only needs to mention beer and good times and they would come running?! No really, we got more family out than ever! It felt really good after all the planning we did! Unable to disappoint, my cousins were in rare form. I finally took off to bed at 1:00 am on Sunday morning only to have 2 drunken cousins sneak into my tent and literally drag me back out to the campfire at 2:00 in the morning! O my!!! (Thanks for saving me Dad!) Anyway, I might be back to my normal sleep patterns within a week or two, but in the meantime I will never forget the nighttime stalkers!
O and after reading up on how great my good friend Summers husband Jared is, I will add some mush of my own regarding Sterling. He went CAMPING! I didn't expect to see him at all over the weekend, but he actually came and stayed the night! I know that that was strictly for me as he is not the get down and dirty camping fool that I have become! Thanks Sterling! I love you!

Long Beach or Wrong Beach?

So, our trip was a total bust! I was sick the whole time and it seriously didn't break 50 degrees there. I'm pretty sure it was warmer here in good ol Orem. O-well, we did get away and it was nice to spend some time together without distractions. Sterling and I always have a good time when we go away. Now to get ready for the main attraction of the year! The Spencer Family Reunion baby! So excited about it. Don't worry friends, I will take mental notes and a few pictures of the drunken brawls and close cousin flirt fest!

Long Beach, here I come!

So we are heading for Long Beach ! Yeah for us! Sterling and I are just going by ourselves while my children suffer through a camping trip. Just kidding. My kids love going to visit with Grandma and Grandpa! They live at the Spanish Fork River Park and the kids eat it up! So the 3 of them drove away together and I had a sad little moment... then it was gone! No really, they are growing up and seeing them drive away was a little weird for me. A little funny thing Koy said yesterday. He said, "what do you think Megan will say when I ask her to sign my shirt? Bum bum bum buuum." Just like when they ask a question on some old mystery movie. He is so funny. Love him. B

The Story of my Life

Well it goes without saying that I am totally a widow this weekend due to the pretty little object you see here. Once a year I am totally widowed to "the train". That doesn't mean that I don't suffer rejection at it's hands at other times of the year by any means. It just means that I will not see or hear from my husband (ie Train Nerd) for days on end. He will anctually sleep on the ground where they have set up. Pathetic! I can't get him to go camping to save my life... Funny.

So Skyler, my awesome 15 year old brought home the Exemplary Student of the Year award tonight. Who knew that he also was the only 9th grader to pull a perfect attendance! So cool is he! I am so proud of him. No one would ever guess that he didn't speak until he was 4 years old and that he was a pretty severely autistic little dude at one point! God bless him! He is my breath of fresh air when nothing else seems to be going right.

All hail Skyler and here's to autistic kids everywhere! May you have many good teachers to help you on your way!

Sad Day

Oh Sad! What a lousy day! Work is out of control! As only Miss could know. Canker sores in my mouth are flippin out of control! However, Miss, you were right. They are still there and completely swollen but they are now numb. Who knew?! Yeah for that. Remind me to never really get botox. Bad idea! So my Dr. called this afternoon and really thinks I may have behcets syndrome. Which by the way, SUCKS! Its cause is completely unknown and there really is not a whole lot to do for it. I actually saw an obit for someone who had died from it because it went into their organs. They think that mine has spread to my nervous system and is causing my nerve pain. They think I should see a specialist in SLC for it. JOY! One more Dr. I can barely contain my excitement for more stupid questions and more dumb tests and useless perscriptions. Wow. Hold me down, I might start a cheer anytime. But only for my friend Kev that could translate it into ASL.

Blog Bummers

So after playing with the color of my blog for like 20 minutes, I decide I didn't like it. Hmmmm... I guess I will have to hire someone to keep my blog up to snuf with all my blog happy friends. (Miss, yours is pretty cute.) How do you get all those fancy backgrounds and such??? I've looked at a few blogs that are AMAZING! Who does this? Who has time to do this? Hopefully no one looks and mine and I can use it as personal proof that I CAN'T blog!!!

Joy of all Joys

My children, and most of all my husband, have been good to me this year for Mother's Day! I got home late last night from scrapping with my good friend Blythe and the boys were still awake. Koy must have been watching the clock because right at midnight he jumped into my arms and wished me a Happy Mother's Day. Then promptly turned to ask Sterling if they could give me their gift. Sterling told him no and to go to bed of course. So first thing this morning I hear little Koy up and noticed he has gone in to wake Macade. Which is like waking the dead, by the way. So Macade gets up and they both go down to wake Skyler. The next thing I know, Koy is right in my face asking how many eggs I want. Sterling and I had already discussed going to Mimi's for breakfast so we let him down easy but I did tell him it was the best Mother's Day thought ever! He had overheard me days ago mention to my mom that we used to do breakfast in bed for them all of the time and my kids had never thought to. It brought tears to my eyes for sure.
Then as I got ready to go, I walked downstairs to behold my gift!!! The Cricut 9000, as Sterling calls it!!! They bought me the Cricut Expressions die cut machine. I am so excited! So those of you who know me, be prepared to get lots of homemade items!!
Yeah for 1 day a year when a chick can get a little love in the form of a $500 machine!

Fave of the day

So my absolute favorite thing of the day was when our friend Kevin came into our office today to observe. When told that a girl in our office wanted his trash he calmly said, "I can't give her my trash." Kevin is seriously one of the funniest people I know!

Here's Some Moore

So, Here's Some Moore is up and running. I might have to get tips from all my blog happy friends on how to keep it that way. I normally don't have a lot of time to write, but thought this is a great place to share the happenings of the Moore household. Not that any of you give a Jim Dandy about our happenings! Sometimes you will get some swell quotes from the little dude of the house, Koy. He has some great one liners that I'm sure you will enjoy. I will try to download some pics from time to time as well. So here's to my loyal fanbase of 0!
